Society billing fails when “who owes what” lives in a treasurer’s chat. Kyasti starts from the unit list, then attaches money to those units.
Get the roster right
Properties → Units is the member map: which flat sits in which building, on which floor. Buildings shows the society or block as a published property with vacancy if you also rent units.
Collect with a trail
Society managers use Tenant payments the same way hostel owners collect rent: pending vs overdue, search by member, Mark paid when money lands. Extra charges (common area, sinking fund style line items) can be configured under Settings → extra charges and applied to the stay or unit.
Give the secretary a role, not the owner login
Invite the society manager as Manager or Staff. They can collect and raise tickets; they cannot wander through owner settings. See the staff roles guide.
